Port-Royal National Historic Site

Explore the Habitation at Port-Royal, a reconstruction of a small French compound begun in 1605 - and home to the original "Order of Good Cheer". Imagine what life was like in this early French colony by talking with the animators, and then visit the wigwam to experience Mi'kmaw culture. It is Canada's first major historical reconstruction, and in 2018 will be undergoing some major restoration , so please note that there will be construction on site!
