Bulwark Craft Ciders/Muwin Estate Wines is an award-winning, owner-operated craft cider, non-alcoholic cider and fruit wine producer. Now in two locations: Bulwark Cider House in Halifax and our winery in New Ross, where we have been producing since 2012.

Proudly one of the few cideries in Canada where apple pressing, fermentation and bottling are done onsite, local Scotian Gold apples are juiced and slowly fermented, resulting in a natural cider that’s never made from concentrate.

Located at 1518 Dresden Row, our Halifax Taproom and retail store has something for everyone! While snacking on pizza and shareables by the fireplace or on our backyard patio, enjoy sampling from 16 taps of craft cider and local beer.
