Sourwood Cider focuses on making raw, unfiltered cider. Using 100% Nova Scotian apples! We experiment with fruit and hop additions, bringing texture and body to our ciders. We often use native yeast and encourage spontaneous fermentation. Although we have a couple young brands that we make following more of a recipe, the majority of our fermentations are left to bend and curve with the seasons. Lots of aging in neutral oak barrels, as well as bottle and can-conditioning (natural carbonation). We love different levels of acidity, aroma, and tannic profiles. Our little bar/restaurant offers live music, a patio, small kitchen with big love, and an all around cozy vibe. We hope you stop in and experience our little niche.
